O verde que é a cor da esperança e representa o início da vida, e que também está em nossa bandeira. Para nós Brasileiros que estamos passando por uma crise sócio econômica e política parece ser a cor perfeita.
Afinal temos que manter a esperança em dias melhores!
Em relação as costuras esta semana foi marcada por costuras relaxantes: String blocks nada melhor!
Utilizando tiras estreitas, com menos de 1 ½ polegada (ou menos de 4 cm) de largura e com pelo menos
4 ¾ (ou 12 cm) de comprimento fui costurando os retalhos. O que farei com isto? Bordas.
Costurei também metade de alguns String Blocks e cortei quadradinhos verdes para a montagem de mais algumas unidades Four Patch. Eles serão utilizados nos blocos Chain do meu Rainbow Scrap Quilt.

Your hopeful greens are beautiful. It is good to be able to relax with fabric and a sewing machine and forget about the outside world and political troubles for a while.

ResponderExcluirI've been reading a book set in Rio this week and learning a lot about it. I have relatives who have lived in Brazil and one is married to a man from Brazil, so it is a family thing for us also. Your project is coming along well in the greens. Keep up the good work!
