E lá se foi Janeiro, o mês da cor Azul claro e Fevereiro foi chegando de mansinho com a cor Roxa.Provavelmente hoje Mari estará disponibilizando o bloco deste mês para o BOM Squared Away.
A diversão desta semana foi fazer String Blocks para aproveitar tiras estreitas com menos de
1 ½ polegada.
10 blocos com 6 polegadas:
4 blocos na cor Azul, 4 blocos na cor Roxo/Lilás e 2 blocos meio a meio. Aproveitei inclusive alguns tecidos neutros com algum detalhe em roxo ou lilás.
Uni em X os 54 String Blocks Azul com 6 polegadas, espero que em breve eles sejam usados em um quilt para alegrar alguma criança do Love Quilts Brasil.
Como falei antes a intenção para este ano era fazer apenas o BOM, e completar as cores faltantes para os projetos iniciados em 2016, mas em Janeiro decidi fazer um Bloco Red Cross com a cruz realmente vermelha e pronto... uma nova série de blocos começou.
