Primeiro Sábado do ano.

Little bricks is a perfect block to make for RSC. Your blues are so pretty, happy stitching!
ResponderExcluirYour Little Bricks are so pretty in those blues; great idea to just try to use up what you have on hand (no quilt police will arrest you for that!! hahaha)
ResponderExcluirI am still working on crumb blocks to try to use up all those pesky little pieces cut off...Happy New Year to you and yours Julierose
if you make all your blocks this year in the same pattern you could put them all into a scrappy quilt - good luck with not buying new fabric!
ResponderExcluirHappy New Year! Happy sewing!
ResponderExcluirNever be sorry for using what you have. That is the main purpose of the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. Simple blocks sounds like a perfect way to use up some scraps without making a big commitment to a complicated new project. Good luck crossing some of those UFOs off the list. So many projects to enjoy!
ResponderExcluirI totally understand wanting to finish UFO’s! I spent November and December doing just that, and there are still so many left. But your attitude is perfect - any progress is good progress. I love the Little Bricks blocks too!
ResponderExcluirI like those little bricks blocks, too, Ivani! They're great in every shade of blue!
ResponderExcluirI had some trouble finishing projects last year too. Only one got completed. I am concentrating on UFOs again this year. But what is starting a new year if not a perfect excuse to start a new (or many) projects? I'm totally in! I love your blocks. I also admired Sylvia's brick quilt and look forward to seeing yours. Enjoy! ;^)
ResponderExcluirUsing just what we have and finish ufo’s was what I did for a number of years. It may take time, but it is very rewarding. Happy New Year to you and your family.
ResponderExcluirI like the simplicity of your little brick blocks, Ivani!!!
ResponderExcluirSo many of us are stitching these Little Bricks lately, it's such a nice little blocks, thanks to Sylvia for sharing the pattern with us all. Your blues look very nice.
ResponderExcluirGood idea to keep your block simple and just move forward on the UFOs as you feel the urge. I think I have over 100 UFOs but a lot of them are scrappy and I need to accumulate scraps to make the blocks. UFOs don't bother me and I love to sew with scraps.

ResponderExcluirPretty blue blocks Ivana! Love the blues. All those UFO's! Finishing them in one year is unrealistic, but I'm sure you'll make great progress. You can do it! My goal this year (as every year - haha!) is not to buy any fabric unless I need it to finish a project. Let's see how long that will last! :)
ResponderExcluirI am feeling the same way about something simple for rsc and I also have way too many ufos. But I will fall in love with all over again, as I work on them. nice project
ResponderExcluirWonderful plans for 2023. I am trying to make sure my slate for 2023 is focused and detailed, but I know I will go off script!
ResponderExcluirYour little bricks are wonderful blocks. I feel the same way that you do about increasing the patchwork options. . .I'm also working to use what I have to reduce the inventory although, I never feel like I make much progress!!
ResponderExcluirIvani, I love your little Brick blocks! It's going to be a fun RSC project. Have fun reorganizing your sewing space, and making progress on your UFOs too ;)
ResponderExcluirThank you for sharing, and linking up!
I love the Little Bricks! Your fabrics are so cute! You are all set for 2023!
ResponderExcluirI’m a fan of those Little Brick blocks too! I love the idea of using the same fabric in all 3 blocks! That should help reduce your stash! As Sylvia has shown, they will make great little quilts!
ResponderExcluirBest wishes for moving your unfinished projects along this year! I'm hoping to cross a few off my list, too.
