O Gato Maracajá é um felino selvagem que vive em regiões de florestas entre o norte do México e o Sul da América do Sul, principalmente no Brasil, na floresta Amazônica e áreas de mata do Pantanal, e Mata Atlântica.
Infelizmente em 2020 tanto a Amazônia como o Pantanal sofreram muito com incêndios e desmatamento, colocando em risco muitos animais, inclusive o Gato Maracajá.

Agora lavado e cheiroso meu bordado está pronto para se juntar a outros lindos animais selvagens bordados por voluntárias do projeto Love Quilts Brasil e em breve alguma criança com graves problemas de saúde irá sorrir.
Love Quilts é um projeto em atividade no Brasil, Estados Unidos, Reino Unido, Austrália e Canadá.
Iniciei este bordado Domingo passado, para estrear minha participação no Desafio 15 Minutes to Stitch.
Bem, devo confessar, foi impossível para de bordar aos 15 minutos e neste quesito eu falhei completamente.
Quando a gente começa a bordar e o celular avisa que já passou 15 minutos dá sempre vontade de bordar só mais alguns pontos, de terminar a área que se está bordando ou de bordar a próxima, e assim em 7 dias eu bordei exatamente durante:
No primeiro dia, Domingo passado bordei por 20 minutos, mas em outros dias durante 1 hora e teve dia que bordei por 2 horas seguidas. Afinal se você tem mais do que 15 minutos disponível para bordar, porque limitar seus esforços em apenas 15 minutos, não é mesmo?
Tantos minutos e só consegui bordar as plantas aquáticas. Embora borde ponto cruz há mais de 30 anos, não sou rápida, mas amo fazer cada ponto.

Your Maracaja cat is a lovely finish, Ivani. Thank you for the link showing us the Maracaja cat....they are gorgeous animals. There is a lot of pretty cross stitching in your Aquatic Plants. I suppose if you only worked on this piece for fifteen minutes a day, it would take a long time to finish. Enjoy your Sunday slow stitching.

Gorgeous finish! Your cat turned out beautifully. The 15 minutes to stitch is just meant to get you started on those days you think you don't have time or just can't seem to get to that point. I very often stay in the sewing room for an hour or more once I get there. Congrats on all the stitching time this week. You've done a lot, it is amazing how long it takes to stitch, even when all you are stitching is x's. Thanks for linking up with the 15 minutes to stitch this week.
Sometimes I try to stitch 15 minutes because that is all that I have, but I would rather stitch for an hour or so. I love that feline. It is gorgeous!
