Primeiramente, gostaria de agradecer a todas as pessoas, que semanalmente tem deixado comentários incentivadores/motivadores.
Sei que a diferença de linguagem pode dificultar bastante o entendimento e nossa comunicação, mesmo com o botão Tradução (Powered by Google Translate) na barra lateral direita, e por esse motivo valorizo muito toda manifestação de carinho. Receber os recados de vocês sempre me motiva a fazer o melhor possível. Agradeço por vocês não desistirem, porque eu escrevo em Português e porque minha realidade muitas vezes é muito diferente da de vocês. Muito Obrigada!
Alguém duvida que com estas tiras a diversão estava garantida?
Esta semana fiz os blocos String em vermelho, estou usando páginas de antiga lista telefônica como fundação.
Primeiro os 2 blocos de transição, nas cores de Abril e Maio.
Depois os 4 blocos em vermelho
e por último já deixei preparado o lado vermelho dos próximos 2 blocos de transição.
Como eu ainda tinha um tempinho disponível e precisava decidir como faria o Topo de Mesa para o Desafio deste mês, optei por fazer a montagem com 4 blocos de 12". 2 dos 4 blocos estavam prontos, no baú dos ufos e partes dos outros 2 estavam preparados. Faltava fazer as 8 estrelas da amizade com 3" cada, sendo 4 estrelas da amizade para cada bloco.
Foi assim que os retalhos vermelhos foram tomando forma por aqui esta semana.

I love reading blogs from other countries - it is a challenge at times because the translator doesn't always do a good job and you know that some words didn't translate right. I read one from Spain and one from the Netherlands and Japan also. Sometimes it is funny I will tell my husband what the translator said and say I bet it means ---

The nice thing about blogging is being in contact with people in other countries! And google translator doesn't always get it right but it's not far off. Love your red blocks and I like the way your transition blocks are coming together.

String blocks are always fun to make,and your little star blocks are so cute. Dont worry about the translation of words, I'm sure we all know what you mean to say. I am from New Zealand down in the southern ocean, so it is nice to read about life and sewing from different countries.

I love your Friendship Stars! I just made quite a few of those myself this last week for my daughter's wedding quilt.
Your string blocks are looking fabulous and the twinkling stars are nice, too. Isn't it wonderful how the computers let us discuss and share with quilters across the world? Even when the translations are imperfect, they are still miraculous in the way they let you understand what someone is saying in a language that you can't comprehend.
