um estádio enorme sem público;
- a Delegação Brasileira desfilar somente com 4 atletas, representando todos os 302 atletas brasileiros participando de 35 categorias da Olimpíada;

What a shame about the frost damaging your plants. It has been cold here, but not much frost so far.

I fell asleep after the athlete's parade, so missed the rest of the opening ceremony.

I'm so happy you are getting your second vaccine! Mine is next Saturday. Hooray!

Yeah! You're getting your 2nd dose of vaccine! My husband might watch some of the basketball, baseball, that kind of sports but we'll both watch the track and field events. Have a pleasant weekend with lots of happy stitching!

so glad you were able to get your second vaccine - that is not good that they made you wait 3 months to get it though. I have not watched the olympics I usually watch a little of it - I need to look at their schedule today. I hope more people do not get sick. I was surprised it wasn't cancelled. I hope your plants come back in the spring

So glad you are able to get the second dose of the vaccine. Oh no, so sorry to hear of the frost damaging the trees. I hope they are able to come back strong. I hope the athletes do not get terribly sick from the exposure at the games.
Your dark blue blocks are lovely.

Glad you got to go for your second vaccine. We are all almost done with the second vaccine. We also have the 12 to 17 year olds almost all vaccinated against the virus. After experiencing the third wave, we are taking no chances. The ice can destroy the trees and plants. We get ice storms here in Canada, big trees just snap into pieces. Your log cabin blocks looks amazing.

What a shame that the frost has damaged your plants I hope they will recover in time. Yes it's sad that this virus has had such an impact on the games and there aren't any spectators, it must make it very strange for the athletes. Your sewing is lovely and it's great that you are getting the second dose of the vaccine. Have a lovely weekend. xx

Hooray for getting your second dose, Ivani! We watched the opening ceremonies while playing a card game with our son last night. Your bead block in dark blues is really pretty!

Hurray for the vaccine! Not long until you can return to a somewhat normal life. I did watch the opening ceremonies. They were very strange with no people. I wonder how the athletes felt? We're watching men's gymnastics now. Have a good week, and I hope you don't have many side effects from the vaccine.

Ivani, isn't it unusual to have such cold damaging weather this early in your area? I'm happy you are fully vaccinated. You are more protected now from COVID and the variants! I am enjoying the Olympics too! Your log cabin block is lovely!
