Esta semana passou muito rápido!
Com 1 dia de viagem de retorno de nossa estada na praia, a semana acabou passando muito, muito depressa. Desfazer malas e colocar a casa para funcionar, leva um tempo até a rotina normalizar. Mas eu sobrevivi!
Finalmente na Quinta-feira a tarde consegui chegar na sala de costura e decidi que iria atacar os retalhos para a coleção Wonky Star, por ser um bloco fácil e que pode ser feito rapidamente. Os blocos desta coleção estão sendo feitos com tamanho final de 10 polegas, e infelizmente a variedade de retalhos laranja que permitem quadrados de 3 polegadas é pequena, por isso apenas 1 bloco foi feito.
Ontem, aproveitei para adiantar os blocos para a próxima semana:
2 blocos Nine-Patch feitos com quadrados medindo 2 5/8 X 2 5/8, e
4 blocos String feitos com retalhos entre 3/4 e 1 1/2 polegadas.
Preparei também um forro para ser usado em uma colcha do projeto Love Quilts Brasil utilizando blocos avulsos feitos por outra voluntária e cortes de tecido que não tinham a medida suficiente para serem usados como forro.

Your wonky star in orange is so pretty, Ivani! That's going to be a very happy quilt. A pieced backing is a great way to use up leftover pieces that you can't use anywhere else. Enjoy!

There always seems to be lots to catch up on after a holiday! Glad you got some sewing done though, great wonky star block.
It does take some time to get back to the "routine" after being away. I love the orange block and it will be extra special since there is one!
Welcome home! A beach stay would make me want to never go back home! Haha! But of course we must. Nice set of orange blocks even if you could only make the one.
