Quilting ChristmasTime

Porque hoje é Domingo vamos falar sobre nossos projetos feitos a mão que envolvem fios e agulha. Domingo é dia de Slow Sunday Stitching.

Durante esta semana, nos finais de tarde, continuei acolchoando a mão os blocos 3 e 4 do quilt Christmastime. 

A cada dia me sinto mais confiante e habilidosa, e estou curtindo muito acolchoar este trabalho. 

Treino é a chave quando se trata de acolchoamento a mão (Hand quilting).

E  hoje treinarei mais um pouco, dando início ao acolchoado das áreas entre os blocos. 

Para as áreas  entre o primeiro bloco e o terceiro, e entre o segundo e o quarto bloco o plano é :

linhas curvas  no estilo Cabo Irlandês

Ontem a tarde terminei de costurar a mão o viés de fechamento (binding), da colcha de berço e com isto quero dizer que  mais um trabalho saiu definitivamente da minha lista de UFOs. 

Falarei mais sobre este quilt na próxima Sexta- Feira.

I couldn't agree with you more, Ivani.....lots of practice with hand quilting is the key. And.....may I say your quilting on your pretty quilt is beautiful! This is such a happy quilt. Fabulous your baby quilt is bounded and finished.
