Para as participantes do Rainbow Scrap Challenge, Maio será a cor dos retalhos vermelhos.
Não tenho uma grande variedade de retalhos vermelhos, mas espero conseguir fazer blocos para todas as coleções que escolhi fazer durante este ano.
Separei os retalhos semana passada e nesta semana comecei montando os blocos EAZY BREEZY,com 8 polegadas.
Depois de cortar as unidades, rapidamente 9 blocos foram costurados: 3 blocos incluindo a cor azul claro, e outros 6 blocos com 2 tecidos vermelhos (estampas e ou tons) diferentes. Por enquanto ainda não tenho um plano para esta coleção por isso estou fazendo uma quantidade aleatória de blocos, conforme a disponibilidade dos retalhos com 2,5" nas cores do mês. Provavelmente estou fazendo mais blocos do que o necessário para montar 1 quilt, mas melhor ter blocos sobrando do que faltando, certo? E não vejo nenhum impedimento para fazer outro quilt ou outro trabalho com os blocos que sobrarem.
Domingo é celebrado o Dia das Mães, aqui no Brasil e creio que em outros lugares do mundo também.
