Olá, Bom Domingo a todos!
Mais um Domingo chegou para celebrarmos nosso amor as artes manuais.
Fiquei devendo uma foto melhor da manta de colo feita com a técnica Uma Milha Por Minuto (Mile a Minute), Domingo passado.
Mile a Minute é realmente um método rápido. E eu gostei muito do resultado, as mantas ficaram muito fofas e quentinhas.
A orquídea foi presente da amiga Elisangela em 2018 e ela tem florido lindamente todos os anos.
Assim que terminei a Mile a Minute # 2 peguei 5 quadradinhos da vovó com 5 carreiras que eu havia feito há um tempo atrás, alguns novelos de lã em diversos tons de verde e decidi, então, fazer a união na diagonal (on point). Crochetei várias carreiras por dia, de um lado e do outro, enquanto assistia programas vespertinos na TV.
Cronometrado, cada carreira é feita em 16 minutos e 15 segundos, logo vocês podem notar que alegremente crochetei por mais de 15 minutos por dia! uh-hu!
Atualmente esta nova mantinha está medindo 80cm (31,5") de ponta a ponta, pelas minhas contas, mais 20 carreiras, e ela estará com 1 metro (39,5"), que é o tamanho ideal para uma manta de colo para o projeto Quadradinhos de Amor. Pretendo alinhar as pontas formando um acabamento reto.
Eu não sei como está para você, mas por aqui o Outono está parecendo Inverno, e é muito bom ter algo que ao ser feito aqueça a mão e o coração, e com um ajudante deste então é só amor.
Para hoje pretendo acrescentar algumas carreiras. Quantas?

Your orchids are beautiful. I have some that are in bud, but I think it might be too cold for them to open at the moment.
The mile a minute afghans are so pretty, they will be well loved. I like the green afghan too. It's nice to have a warm project to work with when it's cold outside. Stay warm, stay safe and happy stitching!
