Tchau Março

Iniciando Abril, não sem antes agradecer a tudo de bom que Março pode proporcionar a nossa família.  Meu coração está repleto de gratidão e júbilo, pelo nascimento de meu neto, afinal agora sou oficialmente vovó.

E vocês podem imaginar quais são meus planos para hoje?

Sim, daqui a pouco vamos pegar a estrada, uma viagem de 2H30 para poder paparicar e babar muito, curtindo nosso netinho, e retornar para casa no início da noite.


Mas antes disso, mostro pra vocês como ainda está meu Design Wall. Com os blocos amarelos que fiz em Março. 


1 bloco Talking Turkey, 4 blocos Hearts for Ukaine, 6 blocos Diamond Tiles e 3 blocos Wonky Star.


Durante a semana dediquei boa parte do tempo na montagem do quilt do bebê.

Ontem mesmo foi dia de costurar a mão o viés de fechamento (binding).





E, como hoje estarei no modo "Vovó on" somente à partir de amanhã é que  iniciarei a usar meus retalhos cor de rosa.

The trip to see the new baby will be wonderful, and I'm sure the family will love the new quilt you are taking as a gift. My granddaughters live two hours drive away too.

Sounds like a great day ! We grand parented on Friday and of course , he said , " Papa!" Oh well , he still runs to me for a hug so it is absolutely wonderful! Enjoy that new baby smell!
