Para esta semana fiz os blocos Rolling Nine Patch do BOM Squared Away, promovido por Mari durante o RSC- 2018.
Este bloco foi publicado no início dos anos 60 na revista Aunt Kate's Quilting
Durante o BOM, ele foi disponibilizado como bloco extra, para quem quisesse fazer a montagem do quilt on point. Eu ainda não sei como farei a montagem, em todo caso aqui estão os 2 blocos bonus. Meus blocos estao sendo feitos com 12 polegadas.
Se vocês observarem bem em um deles usei unidades de Flying geese e no outro precisei improvisar com HTS para aproveitar retalhos menores. Visualmente eles parecem idênticos mas tecnicamente não. Mesmo assim estou satisfeita com ambos.
Agora falta apenas 1 cor para eu completar os blocos do BOM - Bloco do Mês.

Those are pretty in purple, Ivani! Great job figuring out how to make one of them using your smaller pieces - you would never know it to look at them!

Ivani, love your blocks! I made a while back a quilt out of the rolling nine-patch. I cut down on the number of pieces needed by using a longer piece on the right side. Look forward to seeing your quilt.
