Foi uma semana difícil, estressante e muito conturbada. O processo eleitoral este ano ultrapassou todos os limites do bom senso e ética , fomos bombardeados por notícias falsas através das redes sociais. Muito desgastante, cansativo. Nunca passamos por nada parecido antes Enfim, hoje é dia de eleição e ainda esta noite saberemos o resultado. E o destino de nosso amado país. Viva a democracia!
Durante a semana para relaxar um pouco, fui com minha filha até a cascata próximo de casa, ficamos lá por cerca de 2 horas ouvindo o som da água despencando queda abaixo e curtindo os arredores com muito verde.

No campo dos trabalhos manuais os bordados também me ajudaram a sobreviver e me manter sã durante toda esta turbulência política.
O bordado em ponto cruz, Santa has a Teddy, Too! recebeu mais alguns pontos. Decidi bordar todo o contorno com a linha DMC838, inclusive em áreas onde o gráfico não pede contorno. Gosto muito do destaque que os contornos dão ao bordado.
Agora falta pouco e hoje a tarde espero relaxar mais um pouco e terminar de bordar os presentes.
Semana passada contei para vocês sobre o bordado livre Mystery Autumn Stitch Along. promovido por Joy, do blog Days Filled with Joy.
Peguei um retalho de tecido beije liso e usando minha mesa de luz, feita, por meu marido, que com muita criatividade usou um Scaner quebrado. Passei para o tecido a primeira parte deste Stitch Along, com uma caneta térmica.
Por enquanto só bordei a palavra AUTUMN e se sobrar tempo bordarei hoje a moldura. Joy já disponibilizou a 2a.parte.

Stitching is a good project to work with when times are tense. I hope the elections are favorable.
I like to sew when I am feeling stressed too. I do hope your election goes smoothly and that the people elected provide stability and democracy .
I think people are getting crazier and crazier with politics it is very nerve wracking and there are so many with such crazy ideas. I can't begin to believe the crazy stories in politics that so many believe now. The racism and hatred is the worse I remember in my lifetime
I hope now that yours is done you can get back to life as normal - I fear what will happened here in the US

The politics in the uk is driving me crazy too, so I get it! Santa is looking good.
I've seen about your election on TV, do hope you get the result you are hoping for. Misinformation and fake news is so trou ling these days. Enough of politics, the walk to the waterfall must have been very soothing, it looks such a lovely place to visit.

I hope you are happy with the results of your country's election. Our election day is next week. I happen to live in a neighborhood of the USA whose political leanings I no longer agree with. I am hoping democracy is maintained here. I love your little Santa. I am looking forward to seeing your progress with the Autumn stitching.
