Ai, aconteceu a grande surpresa.
Um dos novelos da lã rosa forte estava lá sobre a mesa.
Como assim?
Eu não precisaria desmanchar nada?!
Vocês podem imaginar a minha reação?!
Quase dei beijinhos no novelo. (podem rir, é verdade!)
Saí de lá pulando de alegria.
Enfim, poderia continuar tecendo a mantinha como planejado. Fiquei muito, mas muito feliz mesmo.
Não me perguntem como eu deixei esse novelo lá, nem como esqueci que ele estava lá. Não sei responder. (Será que devo me preocupar com isso?)
O alívio que senti por não ter que desmanchar nenhuma carreira e principalmente por já não ter desmanchado foi imenso, já imaginaram se eu tivesse desmanchado antes de ir ao ateliê?
Mais uma manta pronta para o projeto Quadradinhos de Amor, mais uma mantinha para aquecer alguma idosa que vive em um asilo.
O Padrão Chevron que escolhi intercala carreiras sólidas com carreiras vazadas.
Para a borda fiz somente 1 carreira em Meio Ponto Alto (hdc) na cor verde. Gostei muito do resultado, e vocês? O que me dizem?
Hoje, 15 de Novembro celebramos a Proclamação da Republica e este ano é dia também de irmos as urnas. Dia de eleições municipais aqui no Brasil. Como o voto é direito a partir dos 16 anos e dever até os 70 anos, lá vou eu votar.
Após cumprir meu dever cívico volto para visitar os blogs dos demais participantes do Slow Sunday Stitching enquanto isso decido qual será meu próximo trabalho com fio e agulha.

Ivani, I can imagine you were jumping with great joy at the discover of the pink ball of wool. I do the same very thing all the time, so you are in good company. =) Your chevron blanket is truly beautiful. It seems voting is very popular of late. We should all do our civic duty and vote. =)

The afghan is beautiful! It will bring a lot of happiness and joy to the lady. Don't worry about not seeing that ball of yarn, I often look for something for an hour and don't find it. I walk in the room the next day and there it is, right out where I can easily see it! Happy stitching!

How wonderful that you found your ball of yarn! The same situation happened to me yesterday, I was laying out quilt blocks, and I thought I had a certain number, and there was one missing. It was applique and I knew I had done it. A little while later I turned around and it was sitting somewhere else. Your afghan is turning out beautiful!

We also had our municipal elections recently, but they were all done by mail so we didn't have to go anywhere to vote.
