Ainda no Domingo (17 Janeiro) a ANVISA, finalmente autorizou o uso emergencial de 2 vacinas, aqui no Brasil - Aleluia!!! Finalmente podemos ter um raio de esperança.
Ainda não temos doses suficientes para uma campanha em massa, mas algumas parcelas da população já começaram a receber a primeira dose.
Na área internacional, o novo Presidente americano assumiu o mandato em uma cerimônia emocionante, e que certamente, ficará registrado na história mundial.
Mesmo vivendo ainda momentos difíceis minha palavra para este ano continua sendo ESPERANÇA!
Para o desafio RSC 21 Eu precisava fazer algo leve e simples. O momento pedia isso.
Depois de considerar várias alternativas, optei por fazer mais alguns blocos de tiras (String blocks), para completar a série de blocos que iniciei durante o RSC de 2018 (Veja aqui).
A princípio a ideia era somente fazer blocos nas cores que estão faltando. Mas quem resiste a descontração de um String Block?
- Eu não!
Após fazer o levantamento da quantidade de blocos por cor, cheguei a conclusão que poderia fazer mais alguns em rosa/pink.
Abri a gaveta das tiras com menos de 1 ½" e a diversão teve início.
Adoro transformar essas pequenas tiras que normalmente iriam para o lixo em algo único.
São poucos blocos, mesmo assim foi muito relaxante e divertido fazê-los.
Opss! Fiz 1 a mais? Preciso arredondar essa conta. É o que pretendo continuar fazendo. Afinal melhor ter strings sobrando do que faltando.

String blocks are so relaxing to sew. A nice break in times that have far too much strife. So glad to hear that you are starting to get vaccines. I am anxiously waiting for my turn.
Great way to use up the leftover strips of fabric in your stash, fun to make too.
Those strings look great! So fun to make something pretty out of little bits of scraps. Great news that the vaccines were approved in your country. I hope the rollout of it goes smoothly.
