E esse tipo de bloco é sempre muito versátil.
Eu estou fazendo blocos simples com 6,5 polegadas, unindo tiras estreitas com menos de 1,5 polegadas de largura.
Iniciei esta coleção de blocos em 2018. E ao retornar este ano retomei os blocos String.
Para este mês fiz 2 blocos de transição do azul escuro para o aqua 2 blocos aqua, e mais 2 blocos para a transição da cor que usaremos em Setembro.
Minha coleção de Blocos String agora tem um total de: 76 blocos.
Para um quilt tamanho cama de solteiro preciso de pelo menos 96 blocos, mas 140 blocos seria o ideal.
Tenho um longo caminho pela frente. Mas estão abertas outras possibilidades, poderei fazer com eles um quilt infantil, um ou mais topos de mesa, caminhos de mesa, jogos americanos (placemats). Na verdade não sei ainda quando darei por encerrada esta coleção. A gaveta com tiras com menos de 1,5 polegadas de largura, continua cheia embora algumas cores estejam em baixa.
Como até o próximo Final de Semana estarei sem condições de participar das Linky Parties, fiz também um mini bloco na cor aqua para acrescentar a coleção dos blocos Coração. Queria ter feito outros, mas não deu tempo.
Para estes blocos estou usando vários pequenos retalhos com 1,5 polegadas.

those are nice strips - I need to start something like that with the 2 shoe box size boxes of strips that I have and actually use them instead of adding to them.
I love the way you're combining each month's colors to get a transition block with your strings! There will be lots of interesting designs you can make with them. The hearts are fun, too, Ivani!

Strips seem to multiply somewhow - you can never use up all the strip scraps!
Strip blocks are always fun and easy to make, just a few at a timed and they soon add up to a nice big pile.
I love your strip blocks and 6.5 inches is a great size to work with. You are over half way there for a a larger quilt. I say go for it. It is going to look amazing. Have a great week and happy quilting.
