Esta semana, estava dando uma olhada em meus retalhos amarelos e encontrei alguns triângulos que eu havia feito anos atrás para o RSC-2018 , quando iniciei a coleção dos blocos Talkin' Turkey na cor amarela, na época acabei cortando estes blocos string com um tamanho errado e guardei. Ao encontrá-los imediatamente me lembrei do Hearts of Hope Sew Along que comentei com vocês semana passada e decidi usá-los para fazer algo semelhante.
Os blocos não ficaram de um tamanho padrão justamente porque os triângulos com as tiras amarelas haviam sido cortados com medida errada.
Estes meus blocos ficaram com o Tamanho final de 5,5 polegadas.
Gostei muito do resultado. Principalmente porque pude aproveitar retalhos e pedaços de blocos que foram descartados anos atrás. Com estes blocos poderei fazer, um painel, um centro de mesa ou uma almofada, ainda não decidi.
Eu sempre gostei da combinação de cores Azul e Amarelo.

Your Hearts for Hope blocks are beautiful! So many opportunities to make a difference. I need to choose just one. I'm leaning toward Bonnie Hunter's hearts and GE Designs has a good one too. I'm running out of yellow though, so I may to to supplement my supplies.

your blocks are lovely. Yes I agree the people in Ukraine now need donations of money to the places that are helping with food water and shelter and medications - there will be time for quilts at a later time
