Eu pretendia ter blocos de 2 coleções para mostrar para vocês hoje.
Infelizmente não foi possível, mas mesmo assim um grande progresso foi estabelecido. Vejamos!
Iniciei a semana fazendo partes para a montagem dos blocos Talkin' Turkey, mas, repentinamente uma alergia de contato em minha mão direita, me tirou do eixo.
Passei em consulta médica e aproveitei para durante alguns minutos observar a natureza, voltei para casa mais animada, com um anti-alérgico e uma pomada fungicida, que continuo utilizando. Desde então consegui ter boas noites de sono, segundo a médica esse problema na pele pode ser um efeito pós Covid.
Enquanto montava os 2 blocos WONKY STAR na cor azul fui costurando os Flying Geese como Leader & Enders até que eles se tornaram os únicos líderes, depois foi a vez de fazer os blocos de tiras.
No Design Wall, 2 blocos Wonky Star, 3 blocos Nine Patch, 24 Flying Geeses e 6 blocos String que ainda precisam ser cortados na diagonal.
No chão, como mural, para a foto, a coleção com 29 blocos Wonky Star.
Mas preciso ser sincera com vocês, os blocos Talkin' Turkey só não ficaram prontos porque também usei parte do tempo na sala de costuras, fazendo estes 13 blocos Gingham para serem usados em uma colcha do projeto Love Quilts Brasil.
Eles são vermelhos e a cor do desafio Rainbow Scrap Challenge este mês é Azul, pois é! São coisas que acontecem por aqui...decidi mostrar pra vocês, assim mesmo. Sem problemas, certo? Afinal até o céu que é azul pode ficar vermelho! Este foi o por do Sol desta Sexta-feira , visto do portão de minha casa.

Ivani, your blue blocks are all looking wonderful, and the wonky stars are so pretty in all the colors! I really love the red and white gingham, too. Isn't that a fun design to sew?

Isn't it crazy how COVID affects our bodies in ways we hadn't considered? I hope your contact issue is cleared up completely or much improved by now. I loved your red sky photo. I so enjoy sunrises and sunsets! Your blue blocks are all wonderful.

I've always admired those star blocks and I wanted to make a gingham quilt for a while. Hope you continue to improve with your post Covid symptoms.
Hang in there, glad the allergy medicine is working. Love those wonky stars! I used mine to make a stack of baby quilts. They are just waiting for quilting and were so much fun! Thanks for sharing your great work! Stay safe and sew on !
